18 Weeks/4 Month Check up

Went to the doctor today for the 4 month check up. Today she is 18 weeks old. She weighs in at 15 lbs 2 oz and is now reaching to 25.5 in long! She is getting so big. Everything checked out well and she had two shots today. We are now onto cereal with some fruit in it. Very yummy! She is starting to try and hold onto her bottle, little by little. She has rolled over twice from back to front, but can't quite get front to back yet. She can scoot herself all the way around her bed tho if she wants to. She smiles all the time and is really starting to laugh. She is getting to be a lot of fun around here and she fits right in with her loud mouth, she has to try and compete with the child who won't stop talking, she has her work cut out for her!!!

School for EVERYONE!

Well BIG news for everyone here! Not only did Tristyn start kindergarten but I got accepted to online school, SUNY Empire State College. Tristyn has to wear a uniform now, which he doesn't seem to like to much, altho it is cute I think. He is in Mrs. Sillivan's K-2, Kinder class. He is a big boy now! I am sure it will take some getting used to but in time he will have fun. He has a few kids in his class from last year. They all got split up between his class and another kinder class, there are three total. Its going to be an interesting year with him and I both doing school! (My College acceptance letter; Tristyn at the school; Daddy and Baby with T before orientation; Picking him up from Mrs. Sullivan; and his first day of Kinder was today! That is his uniform, it's cute, but the tie is missing!)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISTYN!

Today is Tristyn's 5th Birthday. Sunday we had a party for him with all of our friends, family and his friends from school. We rented the pavilion at the beach and had a really nice bbq. We had TWO pinata's, they got to swim and eat cake, all at the same time! It was VERY hot. Some of our friends fished for a while and we ended up staying till about 6. We have so much left over stuff that we are having a small bbq at home with friends and family to try and get rid of some foods before it goes to waist. He got lots of cool transformer stuff and is now a big brother who is 5 and starting Kinder this coming september! My how time flies! 14 Weeks this Friday.

She had her 3 month check up last Friday. She was actually 13 weeks that Friday and this Friday she will 14 weeks. She is at 12 lbs. 8 oz. and 24 in long! She is up 2 lbs and 2 in one month. I think she might be starting to teeth a little, the drool is massive and she won't stop chewing on her hands!

Tristyn's birthday party is this Sunday so we have a busy day ahead of us! I will post pictures on Monday probably. :)

Oatmeal is Better!!

We had much better luck with the oatmeal than we did with the rice cereal. She at it much better. I think it has more flavor than the rice. Tristyn also liked the oatmeal much better as well. She is getting so big!

Rice Cereal!

We gave Trinity her first taste of rice cereal today! Very funny to watch her. I didn't think she was going to like, since she has been so similar to her brother and he would not eat it at all! We tried 3 or 4 times with him and he was doing nothing but spitting it back at us! :) She seemed to like it ok. This was the first time we tried, so we will see what happens the next few times we try. She has been eating so much, it was time to start with something else! Here is a video and a few pics.

She is just so precious! I can't get over it everyday I see her. She is so so pretty. Tristyn is doing so good with her and getting better! They are really the best things ever!!! :)

Trip to WI!

Lots of pictures, they are all out of order! Last Friday we drove to see family back in WI. My grandma, uncle and cousin's went for there summer trip up north Wisconsin and we decided to drive over so everyone could meet our little one and see Tristyn. We had a great time. Tristyn and Trinity were holding hands asleep Friday morning as we got closer to WI. we got into town and stopped to see Jeni at here work, she made us lunch. Then we went to Papi's and Tristyn was holding Trinity while sitting with Papi. Then we drove to Jeni and Mikes new house in Janesville. We spent the night with Jeni and Mike, had a BBQ and hung out. It was very relaxing. The boys went Frisbee Golfing on Saturday morning and then we drove to my moms to see everyone. We went to dinner and hung out. Sunday my sister and Jeni came over for a BBQ with my family. Monday we decided to take an extra day and Rob went to see Bruno with my uncle and cousins and I went with mom for a manicure! We took some family pictures and then went to another BBQ. Tuesday morning we got early and left about 8 to go see my grandma in Beloit for breakfast before we hit the road for home. Driving home was fun! We had a tire blow and we lost 4 hours, plus Maya almost became road kill. We got home at 5am and Rob still had to drive to work only to be told there was no work, so we slept all day. Wednesday became a pretty much waisted day, but the extra day in WI was worth it.
