Thanksgiving Feast @ School...

Today the kindergarten class had a Thanksgiving Feast. They sang for us and then we they had chicken nuggets, apple sauce, juice and some desserts. It was very cute. They made costumes. Some were Native Americans and others were Pilgrims. It was to much.

Pretty Ears

We took Miss Trinity to get her ears pierced last night. She did really well and got cute little studs. She cried for about 10 minutes, cuz she just didn't know what was going on and it took us that long to distract her. She fussed for a while on the way home but then was fine after getting in the house. She looks very cute and more like a girl with them. She doesn't have much hair yet, so people still ask whether she is wearing pink or not!!!

6 Months

Miss Trinity had her 6 months check up this morning she is doing great. Getting big! 17.9 lbs, 27 in long. She gets to start eating meats now. She went thru all the fruits, veggies and cereal. She is eating really well and likes it a lot. She should be crawling by month end. Here is a pic of her in a Christmas hat, and a video of her crawling, scooting around.

Learning To Skate!

With Rob working at the Newbridge Arena Rink Tristyn gets to be a part of the learn to skate program. Eventually we want him to play hockey. Well he wants to play to so thats a plus. He actually went home sick on Thursday and is still out of school today (just to be safe, with the fever) but he was feeling the best yesterday so we didn't want him to miss his first lesson. He got really tired after his lesson so we hung out, had some food, hot chocolate and hung out with dad. Then I put skates on (for the first time in about 15 years!) and took him for a spin around. But again he was tired, so we went to the big field next to the rink and hung out in the very beautiful fall day. Little miss is going to be crawling in NO TIME AT ALL! :)

Happy Halloween and Trick-or-Treat!

We took Miss Trinity out for her first Halloween Adventure. It was a lot of fun. Tristyn got a good amount of candy, altho I remember getting much more when I was a kid. Maybe in a few years when he doesn't get tired of walking. We had a good time. Tracy came with us and we walked pretty far in our neighborhood. Its quite big actually. Tristyn got tired of walking up to the houses toward the end and wanted to be held. He also was being scolded for taking to much candy! "Candy, candy, candy!" Quote Garfield! We ended up switching the kids in the stroller. Tristyn ended up in and she was being held. It was pretty funny actually. But we had a very nice time, Rob ended up working the morning and mid day shift at the rink, so he didn't get to come, but thats ok. We love him anyway! We went by Tracy's dads to show off our little Moo Cow and Lauren came with and her girls and Tristyn went to a few more houses, we took some cute pics!

Tristyn's School Halloween Chaosness!

Tristyn had a Halloween get together at his school on Friday night. Talk about a mad house. It was a bunch of kids in costumes, adults trying to talk, really loud music and what seemed like semi supposed to be controlled chaos! While it was neat to see everyone all dressed up, it was really like a big party with food and candy. I do think that it somehow could have been organized better, but I am not on the committee, therefor I keep my comments to myself. He did however, get to run off some energy and proceed to fall asleep on the way to see Rob at the rink. (He got a second job working at an Arena type rink that is part of a whole sport complex, very nice, we visit and bring dinner on nights he works till close, this being one of them) Tristyn took a pic with Trinny in full Optimus gear; Took with his friends Andrew and Conor; He got some tattoo's and I snapped some pics with Grandma (Rob's Mother) and his sister Mary while we sat amongst the masses!

Her favorite thing now is to be in the Jumper. It hangs in the doorway and she can jump up and down in it. She loves to hang around watching Tristyn play, she laughs and jumps and makes lots of really fun noises. We had to get her some good sturdy shoes to wear while she is in it that way she can balance and there are no knee problems. I have a video somewhere of her in it. Its hysterical!

A little bit late.. But Halloween Fun Early!

Friday night Rob's sister Mary had a Halloween Party at her school. We all went together and had a good time. They had raffles and a silent auction. We all won something. Rob and I got a digital camera and digital picture frame. Pretty cool! It was a good time and there were some cute costumes. Tonight we are heading to Tristyn's School Halloween party. Should be fun! New Room, New Bed, OH MY!

Well the kids have been sharing a room (long story) and they will continue to share a room, they will just now be in a much bigger space, YAY! :) We have acquired a new room down here and basically now have all the available rooms in the basement. We will have to bedrooms and a living room, we share the washer room with everyone, but we use it for some storage. Tristyn finally got to use his new Transformer sheet set he got for his birthday and Trinity got a new crib and her own set, Classic Pooh in Pink, just like her big brother had, but his was Green. (Sniffle Sniffle) Here is a pic of the room almost done but T playing at his Lego Table and of his tv which IS bigger than ours (they don't know that sacrifices we make, ha ha!) and them both asleep in there new beds. :)

Pumpkin Picking

Went went pumpkin picking in Suffolk County today. It was fun, but cold, but fun! We went on a hay ride to pick the pumpkins, fed some animals and took some funny pics!
